EN - IT'S (not) CIRCULAR

Limited edition fine art print — only 15 prints available

A circle suggests completion.

This one resists it.

It’s (Not) Circular explores the instability hidden within geometric order. Concentric rings imply balance and containment, yet the composition continuously fractures that expectation through directional tension and visual pressure.

What appears stable begins to feel aggressive.

Geometry under tension

The eye is drawn inward through a controlled system of lines and circular repetition. But the movement is not calm.

It accelerates.

Sharp linear elements converge toward a red core that functions simultaneously as centre, interruption and rupture.

The circle becomes target.
The target becomes tension.

Structure against neutrality

Black and white construct the visual architecture of the image. Their balance suggests precision and control, while the red element disrupts that equilibrium with concentrated force.

Black becomes structure.
White becomes impact.
Red becomes pressure.

The composition transforms geometry into psychological space.

Symmetry as conflict

Rather than offering harmony, the image investigates how symmetry can coexist with instability. The visual system appears ordered, yet every directional line increases the sensation of compression and confrontation.

Minimal in structure.
Radical in contrast.

The centre as force

Part of the Abstract / Visual Research series, It’s (Not) Circular explores how geometric reduction can generate emotional intensity through rhythm, opposition and controlled imbalance.

The image does not seek perfection.
It seeks tension.
