EN - COUPLE PORTRAIT
This work presents two domestic objects stripped of their function and reinterpreted as symbolic presences. A fork and a spoon appear incomplete within the frame, partially excluded from view, because what defines a couple is not the entirety of two individuals but the space where they intersect.
The fork, vertical and sharp, suggests direction and assertion. The spoon, curved and receptive, introduces containment and depth. Their forms allude to archetypal energies — not as literal representation, but as structural metaphor.
The composition deliberately avoids full visibility. By cropping both objects, the image removes descriptive redundancy and concentrates attention on tension, proximity and relational geometry. The background remains neutral, almost silent, allowing shadow and contour to define presence rather than surface detail.
“Couple Portrait” belongs to a conceptual fine art research in which everyday objects are transformed into visual propositions. The domestic sphere becomes a stage for existential reflection. The image does not narrate affection; it investigates polarity, complementarity and coexistence. This symbolic tension also emerges in All Birds Are Black
Printed on museum-grade materials to preserve tonal density and structural clarity, this piece is conceived as a meditation on balance and difference.
