Medusa’s Head explores density through rhythm. Interlocking linear forms coil and collide across the surface, generating a visual field that resists stillness. There is no central subject, no hierarchy — only continuous tension between order and disruption.
The composition operates through accumulation. Each curved segment echoes the next, creating a hypnotic architecture that both attracts and unsettles the eye.
Black becomes mass.
White becomes incision.
The surface becomes pressure.
Part of the Abstract / Visual Research series, this work investigates how repetition can transform into spatial intensity — where pattern ceases to decorate and begins to destabilize.
